EXCLUSIVE SERIES

Many mouthpiece manufacturers work with model designations that only allow insufficient conclusions to be drawn about the cup diameter, cup depth and rim contour.

Roland Klier recognizes early on the disadvantages that arise for the wind player when looking for his mouthpiece. In 1964, with the Exclusive line, he designed a logical and easily understandable designation system that, based on the model number, made it possible to identify all the data relevant to the wind instrument at a glance.

In addition, he developed a revolutionary concept in the combination of cup, bore and back bore, which allows the use of Klier mouthpieces in any musical style.

The unusually large selection in the Exclusive line offers every player the opportunity to find their personal mouthpiece. In addition, the edge contours of trumpet, cornet or flugelhorn mouthpieces are identical with the same cup diameter. This enables the fan to be replaced quickly and easily.

The independent outer shape of the Exclusive series is the result of numerous attempts to work out the optimal mouthpiece weight. It has established itself as a distinctive feature of the JK Exclusive series.

The Exclusive Export line is an addition to the respective Exclusive series. The rims are identical in diameter and rim shape to this one to allow for easy jumping between series. In terms of sound, the export line is geared towards symphonic wind music and classic brass bands.
