Bach Studies for Flute - 24 arrangements of works EB6857
Bach Studies for Flute - 24 arrangements of works EB6857
Our edition is based on Fritz Schindler's 24 transcriptions of works by Bach for flute solo from 1896. For a long time, an integral part of every flutist training, the edition enables extensive finger-technical studies and at the same time encourages exercises in phrasing and articulation thanks to the high musical quality of the pieces and dynamism. Gerhard Braun has looked through the musical text, eliminated the expression designations and arcs of articulation, which in Schindler's time were still very much included in early music editions, and restored the original form. This offers the player a greater degree of interpretational freedom and different implementation options.
